Exploring beautiful locations and practicing the Art of Observation, this recreational and educational activity has a fun adventurous field trip feel!
Kids document their discoveries through the practice of photography by following specific visual assignments & challenges that are inspired by essential notions of composition and techniques that are easy to grasp.
Children don't need a fancy camera or any photography skills, only an interest in taking pictures and exploring beautiful outdoor locations! A simple point and shoot device is sufficient. Smartphones are a good option. Any camera will do!

This initiative puts the focus on the creative mindset and artistic approach to photography. It is an opportunity for children to slow down, spend quality time outside and learn to be in the moment. Content & structure is customizable to suit children of different levels and abilities. Photography teaches children self reliance and autonomy, it boosts self confidence, encourages initiative and curiosity. Photography is a satisfying activity at any age, but is particularly beneficial to children as it provides instant gratification and the opportunity to express themselves creatively. ​

​Lessons are given verbally with an IPad for visual support, alongside simple assignment flashcards. Carefully structured, I alternate between lesson and assignment time with pauses for breaks and snacks, in safe & family friendly locations. I'm a certified first aid responder in child care and always have my first aid kit in my backpack!
​Small groups enables me to offer one on one guidance and instruction while catering to each child's individuality and needs.
The age requirement is a general guideline. I'm flexible on a case by case basis give a year or two!
