Are you looking to elevate your everyday Photography skills and unleash your full creative potential? Then this workshop is for you!
What it's about:
This workshop is designed specifically for iPhone users who are interested in Photography, no matter their current knowledge or level.
What can I expect?
Workshops typically last about 3 hours, and are conducted on an individual or small group basis only. Here's an overview of what to expect:
-The first half of your workshop occurs either indoors or in an adequate outdoor seating area. Here, I will introduce you to various composition techniques and creative skills using visual aids on my iPad. I'll talk about the importance of developing your observation skills, finding connection through visual storytelling & setting intention to your practice.
- NOW OPTIONAL. You aren't obligated to use this app and we can work from your default camera app. I'll still show it to you and recommend it.
Pro Cam offers you quality capture at another level and has a much more intuitive use for Photography than your default app. We'll still look at a few features of interest in iPhone's default camera but overall, Pro Cam's features and quality are simply unmatched. It's easy to use too!
- About halfway through, we'll head off on a leisurely Photo walk of about an hour. With my guidance and overseeing, you'll be putting your new found knowledge & skills in practice while searching for visual opportunities.
-I'll allow for about 20 to 30 minutes at the end of your workshop for us to return to a seating area and explore easy editing techniques with the free app Snapseed. Editing in mobile photography is crucial and will help make those images really pop. Snapseed is an amazingly complete user friendly professional photo editor and trust me, you'll soon find yourself obsessed with it!
-Within a week after your workshop, you'll receive a PDF recap document of all the creative content that was covered (so no, you don't need to take notes).
I'll also touch base with you for one personal follow up just in case you have a question or need assistance!
STRUCTURES AND TIMELINES CAN BE CUSTOMIZED TO PREFERENCE, SUCH AS HAVING MORE THAN ONE SESSION, WITH A PAUSE IN BETWEEN FOR YOU TO PRACTICE.
FOR EXAMPLE: 2 SESSIONS OF 2 HOURS, ONE WEEK APART. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO PROCESS AND PRACTICE AND FOR ME TO REVIEW YOUR IMAGES ON OUR SECOND SESSION.
